Yvonne is an operations executive with over 15+ years' regional experience managing large and diverse teams in EdTech, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Conservation across Africa. She has broad regional experience managing companies and teams at different stages of growth from start up, growth, maturity and turnaround and brings a wealth of knowledge in scaling businesses and operations to operational excellence, sustainability, and maturity. Yvonne has had cross functional experience leading teams in Business Development, Finance, Talent, Administration, Operations, Risk, Quality Assurance, PR and Marketing, Legal and Compliance, Project Management, Customer Service and Credit.

Currently, as the Chief Operating Officer for Africa in WWF, Yvonne leads the regional operations teams to ensure the effective and efficient operational health of all Africa Country Offices in fulfillment of their individual Strategic Objectives, WWF values/ Network Standards, and policies/procedures of WWF International with the main mission being to ensure operational excellence in effective and efficient functioning of WWF International managed offices in Africa.

Yvonne holds a Global Executive Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance option) and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA -K).

She is an adept people person who enjoys connecting and interacting with people, collaboratively seeking solutions to the world’s biggest problems, passionate about investing in the next generation of leaders and building lasting relationships and partnerships. 

Yvonne loves cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends over a fire, a great meal, hearty laughter, and great conversations.
